Worst Day Ever: I Was Robbed

Well...it was one of the worst days I have ever experienced. A few weeks ago, I had the displeasure of having my home robbed. The thieves used my fathers ladder to gain entrance through the second floor window, which is usually locked. They walked around my home and went into every room on the second floor. My parents room was trashes, as if, they were looking for something illegal or expensive. In the end, they just left with my laptop and camera, and my brothers laptop, Express ties, Ecko watch, television and Xbox One.

 It was an unfortunate event, but I am no longer able to take pictures to put on the blog. The event has sadden me tremendously, because I started to enjoy taking pictures of myself and began seeing myself as a pretty person. For the time being I will put together outfit collages until I am able to purchase another computer and camera. My parents, meaning my mother, has offered to help me get both items back, but I want to try and get them myself before accepting the help. I feel like items one works extremely hard for are appreciated more. I apologize for the absence this week, but I hope to be back to my regular schedule next week.

Most people would love to live in Miami, but I don't. I love watching the seasons change and getting to get out my fluffy knits, but that only happens when I get to travel up north. Last year I had the privilege of travelling to Japan and I got to wear all my knits. One of the best countries I have gone to, to date. This winter I will be staying in the place where it is summer all year round, which I HATE. Next year, I hope to be in a cold place and enjoying my knits.

The first four tops are 1.99 and the last one is 5.99. It cost less, because I had a coupon for an additional 30%. I am a good bargain shopper, but my mother is better. One day I will be on her level. She is the type of person to go to Banana Republic and get a $120 sweater for $20. And that is without a coupon. SHE IS AMAZING. The Unflattering Dress

I tried everything to make this dress look good on me and nothing worked (jewelry, undoing buttons, different shoes, changed hair). It is a good thing I only spent $5 on this dress or I would be very upset. This picture was chosen so you could see my unhappiness and my boots (I LOVE BOOTS). Well, I learned a lesson that I haven't learned from, stop buying things before you try them on. I enjoy online shopping and you can't always get hits. Occasionally there will be misses. This dress is one of my misses.

Sneaky, sneak, sneaker wedges

The moment I saw sneaker wedges I didn't like it. After seeing them on several people I decided to give it a try, because all things in fashion should be worn before judgement can be passed. Is what I will never think again. Most people know what looks good on them and I should have stuck to what I know. The sneaker wedges aren't for me and I decided to find them a new home. My preference for sneakers are flat not elevated. It looked great on so many people and I thought I could be one of them. Next time I will try a trend on at a store and not buy it before.

There is one thing in the world I love more than ice cream and it is flowy clothes. I love to be comfortable and show my personality through my clothes. Ever since I gained weight I started wearing darker colors, especially black. Black is known for its slimming effect on the body and being slim is something I talk about, but never do anything about. The "not doing anything" is about to change, since I got a better job. The increase in money will be help in getting a gym membership or buying a treadmill. 

My progress with my new job hasn't been as well as I want, but I am not going to give up. When things get hard, I get really stressed and I can't think straight. It has been something of a challenge and I want to change it. Hopefully with time, I will conquer this madness.

Photography Software Fun

This is what happens when I get photography software and I can't sleep at night. Hopefully, I get some sleep tomorrow night, because I have work. I have no idea how I did anything, but I do like the end results. It is just luck and I plan on learning how to do this more often for myself. Creative outlets are my favorite way to express myself, because I never seem to find the words. When I paint, take photos, wear clothes, draw and etc., I find what I want to say.

My room is finally getting flooring and I am pretty happy about that. It has been two months, since I last slept in it and I miss it. I haven't been able to paint or create anything artistic, because I had to pack my art supplies away. Hopefully, I am sleeping in  my room next week and painting away. I have already thought of several things I would like to get on a canvas.
